With a buy-in of $55, the tournament will need to attract 20,000 entries across all the Phases to cover the guarantee. Phase 1s are running every day multiple times a day until November 29. Phase 2 is scheduled to run on Monday, November 30.
The tournament is reminiscent of the famous Red Spade Open that PokerStars ran almost every year from 2011 to 2017 with the same buy-in and guarantee except that players were awarded bounties for knocking out PokerStars’ Team Pro.
